28 Mar Apple Crumble
So the mighty Apple decides to eject six school children from their store in Melbourne on the basis that they look menacing and “might” steal something http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2015/nov/12/apple-store-in-melbourne-accused-of-racism-after-video-shows-staff-ejecting-african-students
Apple has so far declined to comment, only saying it is a local store problem and that they cannot be held accountable for how individual employees handle a situation. The store manager apologised to the children, however, methinks a far more robust response from Apple HQ would have been more appropriate and would maybe limit that kind of bad taste you start to get about corporate behemoths. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds but watch your step; you might not always be the apple of our eyes.
